Job Overview:

We are seeking a full-time Senior Bid Engineer focused on rolling stock maintenance based in Stockholm.

The ideal candidate will report to Maria Lindström (RSM Engineering Manager) and work alongside collaborative and driven teammates.

  • This role involves managing technical work streams in a tender in accordance with the time schedule.
  • You will deliver maintenance plans, bills of materials, direct maintenance cost models, risk and opportunity registers, and support tender managers and teams.
  • Evaluating and defining maintenance strategies together with tender teams is a key responsibility.
  • You will calculate bonus/penalty regimes and provide these to tender teams.
  • Optimizing and improving maintenance costs regarding material and labor time is essential.
  • Challenging manufacturing units in the development of vehicles and definition of Life Cycle Costs is also required.
  • You will review and consolidate RAM/LCC data with maintenance project engineers and systems engineers.
  • Ensuring feedback of experience and needs from the perspective of maintenance projects is crucial.
  • Promoting the use of latest maintenance techniques and R&D developments is also a key aspect of this role.
  • Identifying, proposing, and implementing maintenance optimizations in existing projects is a challenging task.
  • Carrying out risk analyses is also part of this job.

Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in a technical role, preferably in Railways system/Application engineering.
  • Knowledge of rolling stock equipment is essential.
  • Experience of LCC analysis is also required.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office, SAP, BI/BO.
