About the Role

We are expanding our Group finance team and are looking to hire a Corporate Accountant to join the team in Stockholm. The new Corporate Accountant will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily financial administration. To excel in this position, the ideal candidate should be a well-organized and practical problem solver, thriving in an entrepreneurial setting with demanding deadlines.

This role requires experience from independently completing a full financial statement for a company. To succeed, we think you have strong analytical thinking, a structured and ambitious approach, coupled with a personal drive to assume responsibility and work autonomously.

Main Focus Areas

  • Independently handle monthly closing work and account reconciliations
  • Ensure that all input from bookkeeping activities is properly done to reach a high degree of documentation and quality standards
  • Annual reporting, including financial statements
  • VAT and tax approval
  • Manage Audit requests and planning in Parent company
  • Superuser for Dynamics 365 (Finance operations) and contact person to IT department
  • Administrative tasks relating to employees, including salary, vacation, and travel expenses
  • Responsible for daily invoicing and payments for the Swedish entity (outsourced to an accounting firm)
  • Supporting management in monthly and yearly budget processes and forecasting
  • Working together with the finance team to support internal stakeholders

  • Strong administrative experience is preferred

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Structured and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Bachelor/Masters Degree in accounting, business accounting, finance, or equivalent
  • Fluent in Swedish and English is a must, both written and spoken
