Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of new accounting processes and systems
  • Provide expert support to the team and other members of the organization on accounting issues
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for several entities
  • Ensure accurate year-end closings and annual reports for several entities
  • Participate in the preparation of the group's annual report
  • Conduct financial analysis and investigation to monitor the income statement and balance sheet
  • Perform ongoing accounting and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Manage tax, VAT, and declarations
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles in systems and processes

About the Role:

You will report to the Head of Group Finance at the Stockholm School of Economics in central Stockholm. We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree and at least 5 years of experience as an accountant. You must be fluent in both Swedish and English, in both spoken and written form. Experience with system implementation and the ability to lead change projects are essential. A background in auditing is considered a merit.
