Senior Sales Executive

Nuveen, the investment management arm of TIAA, is seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our Nordic Client Group. As a Sales VP/Director, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with institutional and wealth clients in Sweden, reporting to the Head of Nordics.
This is an exceptional opportunity to work with the biggest institutional investors in the region, across a broad range of investment products. You will be supported by the firm's training programs in product knowledge, process & systems, and relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities- Manage key client relationships at a senior level with CIOs and portfolio managers to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute a strategy to cross-sell to existing clients, driving new revenue and mandate generation across products and client types.
- Lead client and prospect meetings, engagement activity, and brand building with investors not currently engaged with Nuveen.
- Collaborate with partners within Nuveen, especially the Specialist and investment teams, to drive new business opportunities and solve complex client issues.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the team's overall development.
- At least 10 years' experience in financial services, with asset management industry experience preferred.
- Proven track record in institutional sales, with experience in alternatives and traditional asset classes.
- Established network of key decision-makers within relevant institutions in the Nordic region.
- Excellent sales skills, with the ability to close business and build strong working partnerships.
- Solid product and investment knowledge, with a general understanding of financial markets, investment vehicles, and regulatory landscape in Sweden.
