Research Project Overview
The KTH Royal Institute of Technology is seeking a highly skilled postdoctoral researcher to join our team in the School of Engineering Sciences. The successful candidate will be working on the development and use of MINFLUX single-molecule microscopy for cellular imaging and dynamic studies on the nanoscale.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize single-molecule labeling strategies for MINFLUX microscopy
- Conduct high-precision MINFLUX microscopy experiments and analyze data
- Establish methods for data precision analysis and quality control
- Collaborate with researchers from KTH, KI, and SU to analyze cellular processes on the nanoscale
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in a relevant field, such as nanoscale microscopy or biophysics
- Excellent experience in the use and development of super-resolution single molecule microscopy for biomolecular research
- Independence in research, demonstrated through publications as first author in high-quality conferences or journals
- Excellent spoken and written English to facilitate collaboration within the project group
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent doctoral degree (within the last three years) in a relevant field
- Experience with cellular sample preparation for single-molecule studies
- Experience with statistical analysis methods regarding single-molecule studies
- Teaching abilities and awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues
