Job Overview

Databricks Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Pre-sales Manager to lead our Nordics expansion. This role will be responsible for managing a team of pre-sales Solutions Architects, focusing on complex strategic accounts.

The ideal candidate will have experience partnering with sales organizations, closing revenue opportunities in consumption sales, and coaching new sales and pre-sales team members to work together effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of pre-sales Solutions Architects to drive business growth in the Nordics region
  • Develop and execute strategies to scale the designated team without compromising quality
  • Build a collaborative culture within the rapid-growth team, embodying and promoting Databricks' customer-obsessed, teamwork, and diverse culture
  • Support increase in consumption sales through involvement in sales cycles
  • Promote a solution and value-based selling field-engineering organization
  • Display an understanding of business needs and revenue potential for accounts in the assigned region
  • Build Databricks' brand in Nordics in partnership with the Marketing and Sales team
Requirements
  • Experience in pre-sales manager role in developing, managing, and building a team of successful Big Data, Cloud, Analytics, or AI professionals
  • Experience in complex strategic accounts generating consumption sales
  • Knowledgeable in and passionate about data-driven decisions, AI, Analytics, and Cloud software models
  • Market experience of the EMEA region
  • Fluent language skills in English and Swedish
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
