Commercial Contracts Specialist

Job Summary
The Commercial Contracts Specialist will oversee construction contracts, ensuring compliance with commercial and contractual requirements. This involves managing works by EPCM contractors, processing change requests, and expediting payment applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage works by EPCM contractors, including detail cut/fill/blast works and underground works;
- Process change requests and ensure timely processing of payment applications;
- Attend meetings with contractors, including kick-off meetings and weekly site meetings;
- Ensure bank guarantees/bonds are received and sent to clients;
- Administrate formal letters sent by EPCM to sub-contractors;
- Escalate issues with sub-contractors to the HMP Contracts Lead;
- Coordinate closely with contract management teams for civils works and engineering/architecture consultancy;
- Develop strategies for remaining works yet to be awarded with EPCM Contractor Sub-Contracting Manager and HMP Procurement Lead;
- Support steel supply strategy during pre-award and post-award phases for pipe supports and other buildings;
- Provide support towards logistics for HMP and assist procurement for unawarded site contracts;
- Focus on balance of plan sub-contracts in supply of goods for electrolyzers in pre-award and post-award phases;
- Work closely with cost control lead and construction lead for HMP;
- Present status and escalate issues/ask for support through weekly check-ins with contract management team in Boden and HMP Contract Lead;
- Assure KPI reporting is performed for contract management HMP.
