About the role

Join Scandic Hotels, the leading hotel brand in the Nordics. We're looking for an experienced Partnership Development Manager to maximize the value of our existing partnerships and develop new opportunities for growth. You will drive the development of our strategic partnerships and lead cross-functional teams to ensure that tactical initiatives are on track and delivering results.

Our current partnerships include airlines, tour operators, and credit card companies, and we're eager to enhance and expand these relationships further.

In this role, you'll have the freedom to take charge of key partnerships, shaping their direction and driving real impact. You'll be working on exciting, high-stakes projects that directly contribute to Scandic's growth and customer loyalty—so your work will truly make a difference. Your key responsibilities

  • Maximize Impact from Existing Partnerships:
    • Take ownership of existing partnerships with airlines, credit card companies, and other partners to ensure they achieve their full potential.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to drive partnership strategies that deliver revenue and brand growth.
  • Identify and Secure New Partnership Opportunities:
    • Discover new partnerships that align with Scandic's growth strategy and vision.
    • Drive initiatives that enhance the guest experience and generate new revenue streams.
    • Lead the roll out of new features in both existing and new partnerships, working with teams across the company to bring ideas to life and ensure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams:
    • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure tactical activations within partnerships are executed on time and meet performance targets.
    • Work closely with sales, marketing, IT, and operations to align on objectives and deliver successful results.
  • Market Insights & Reporting:
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and new partnership opportunities.
    • Monitor and report on the performance of partnerships, setting KPIs and providing updates to leadership.

Experiences you bring and share with us

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in partnership or business development, preferably in the travel or hospitality sector, alternatively consulting experience in relevant fields
  • You have strong project management experience, involving multiple stake holders and work streams, tying together IT, Commercial and Operational
  • You are a self starter that takes initiative to get things done independently
  • You are a Power Point wizard that can capture and present the essence of complex topics in an elegant way.
  • You have excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • You think strategically, act decisively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
