Job Description

As an Associate Operations Manager, you will drive innovation, implementation, and execution across all aspects of operations. Your primary focus will be on leading autonomous delivery ambitions in the North region, working closely with key areas and spearheading new ideas, such as courier partnership models, sustainability projects, or innovative delivery modes. You will bring structure to ambiguous situations, own forward progress, and collaborate across individuals, teams, and functions to achieve ambitious targets in all countries and business lines.

Responsibilities:
- Own the operational part of autonomous deliveries, including vision and strategy, partnership negotiations, feasibility studies, unit economics, product development coordination, and scale-up of operations.
- Identify and suggest new business and project opportunities within the scope of Strategy & Innovation, based on industry insights and data-driven hypotheses.
- Utilize analytical skills to create data-driven hypotheses for solving complex problems involving the Wolt platform and business environment.
- Lead and own responsibility areas from ideation to implementation and follow-up, with potential leadership of a team in the future.
- Effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure progress in specific responsibility areas, including product, marketing, legal, policy, local, and global business teams.
- Monitor KPIs and conduct analysis to understand performance and devise strategies to meet or exceed targets for the North region.

Requirements
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for end results.
- Experience in operational autonomy development and implementation.
- Proactive 'doer' mentality, willingness to fail, and openness to learning from mistakes.
- Self-driven and able to fill work weeks with tasks based on agreed purposes and end-states for the team and company.
- Solves problems independently and proactively.
- Experienced manager with successful, measurable results in leading big and small projects and teams.
- Passionate about new technology and innovative ways to operate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swedish (other Nordic languages a plus).
- Proficient in digital collaboration tools like GSuite, Slack, and Zoom.
