We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Business Developer to join our sales team and drive business growth in the digital industry. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a commercially responsible sales strategy that enhances revenue and achieves business targets.

You will lead and mentor a team of sales managers, including recruitment, training, performance management, and career development to foster a high-performing team environment. You will also oversee key pursuits, drive the strategic direction for sales pipelines, and ensure effective execution to close deals in line with business guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a commercially responsible team strategy to enhance revenue and achieve business targets.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales managers, including recruitment, training, performance management, and career development.
  • Oversee key pursuits, drive the strategic direction for sales pipelines, and ensure effective execution to close deals.
  • Manage budgets, cost controls, and pipeline reporting, ensuring accurate monitoring of financial and non-financial performance metrics.
  • Represent Siemens at industry-leading events, manage customer relationships, and strengthen market presence.
  • Collaborate on defining multi-year sales strategies and business plans while adapting to market reactions and managing commercial risks.
  • Ensure all sales activities meet legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements while upholding Siemens' compliance guidelines and professional integrity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in software sales management in SaaS businesses, including value selling (e.g., Challenger approach).
  • Knowledge of digital industry software solutions and sales processes/methodologies.
  • Strong skills in presentation, communication, facilitation, and collaboration.
  • Showed expertise in customer leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision-making based on CRM systems SFDC.
  • Experience in people and business management, achieving goals, and managing execution.
  • Strong big-picture thinking, sharp business insight, and entrepreneurial demeanour.
  • Skilled in negotiation, conflict management, and leading through change.
  • Relevant degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or Sales (or equivalent experience).
