The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Stockholm (remote). As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for performing service and maintenance on equipment and instruments at our laboratory customers in the region. The role involves travel within Sweden and abroad for training and service visits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calibrate, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on centrifuges, incubators, autoclaves, media dispensers, casting machines, and other laboratory equipment.
  • Report completed work in our systems and to customers.
  • Provide technical support via phone and email, as well as sales of spare parts.
  • Contribute to long-term customer relationships and the development of our service offerings.
Requirements:
  • You have a degree in electronics or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience in similar roles is highly desirable.
  • To succeed in this role, you must be organized and comfortable working independently as well as in a team, be practical and solution-oriented.
  • You work very accurately, structured, and independently.
  • You take your own initiatives and are flexible in your approach.
  • You have a good command of Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
  • You can analyze, understand, and handle customer problems in a business-like manner.
  • You have a valid B driving license.
  • You have knowledge and practical experience of working with PC systems such as SAP, CRM systems, and the MS Office package, primarily Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and measurement uncertainty calculations is highly desirable.
  • Experience with validation work such as IQ/OQ is an advantage.
