Pre-Sales Technical Expert

Hitachi Energy is a global technology leader advancing a sustainable energy future for all. We serve customers in the utility, industry, and infrastructure sectors with innovative solutions and services across the value chain.
This role is part of our Pre-Sales Team, responsible for identifying and capturing new market opportunities in the distribution automation segment.
We are looking for a professional with a strong understanding of Protection & Control applications within Electric Distribution utilities and basic knowledge of Ethernet communication and Cyber Security principles.
Your Key Responsibilities- Provide pre-sales technical support and expertise to assist the sales team in their sales effort.
- Develop and maintain specialized product knowledge in a single product or product line.
- Deliver presentations and product demonstrations to clients and sales representatives.
- Possess some capability for the installation component of product/service solutions and develop prototypes to demonstrate the feasibility of product solutions.
- Offer customer support to address clients' issues in the usage of products and services.
- Perform customer interactions such as demos, proof of concepts, and presentations.
- Be prepared to travel 20 to 40 days per year within the Hub Europe area for customer visits and demos, both virtual and face-to-face.
