Job Title: Client Engagement Specialist
Job Summary:
The Client Engagement Specialist plays a critical role in managing the renewal process for a defined set of customers. This involves retaining existing contract revenue within existing buying centers and supporting new sales into these accounts made by the Account Executive. To achieve this, the Client Engagement Specialist will need to collaborate with internal teams to ensure the client's business needs are met to support the renewal. The goal is to develop and drive successful renewals, ensuring a strong revenue base for Dow Jones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a retention strategy for assigned strategic accounts.
- Provide regular updates to the manager on high-risk renewal accounts within the region and propose strategies to turn them around.
- Ensure appropriate levels of customer training and product utilization by working with the Product Training Specialist team and monitoring internal reports.
- Oversee the renewal lifecycle, from pricing and contracting to invoicing and client support, to address customer concerns effectively throughout the fiscal year.
- Support new sales into existing accounts to maximize customer ROI with Dow Jones.
- Develop a deep understanding of the client's business, including their industry, competitors, and current and developing needs.
- Act as a client conduit internally for feedback and competitive intelligence to Dow Jones' Product, Content, and Marketing teams.
- Identify opportunities for increased revenue within the set of accounts and work with the sales team to pursue these opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within our systems.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in customer engagement or sales.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Fluency in Swedish or any other Scandinavian language is preferred.
