We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as a Regional Sales Director for Customer Base Account Executives. This role requires a strong sales background with experience in upselling/renewals within an existing customer base. The successful candidate will lead, coach, and mentor a field sales team to drive complex sales cycles and position Workday as a viable cloud partner of choice compared to legacy ERP solutions.
About the Role
The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for:
- Driving new business growth within the existing customer base in Sweden and Norway
- Leading a team focused on orchestrating internal teams to drive complex sales cycles
- Coaching and mentoring a field sales team for assigned territories
- Employing effective selling strategies to position Workday as a cloud partner of choice
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 12+ years of field sales & management experience at a SaaS company, ideally focused on upselling/renewals within an existing customer base
- Experience selling cloud/SaaS/ERP solutions
- Experience cultivating relationships with partners and alliances
- Experience managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue/quota attainment
- Experience as a leader in a successful team selling environment
- Experience addressing C-level customers with value-based selling
