National Sales Manager Opportunity
ESTÉE LAUDER Companies is seeking a highly skilled sales leader to assume the role of National Sales Manager for Sweden. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to join a global leader in prestige beauty and drive business growth in the Swedish market.
About the Role
The National Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals in Sweden, driving sales growth, and implementing strategies to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with retailers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Growth: Achieve retail sales targets by channels, retailers, and brands.
- Team Management: Support, engage, and develop the team of District Managers and in-store staff in department stores and perfumeries.
- Relationship Building: Build a strong and trustful network to retail partners and other industry stakeholders.
- Talent Development: Build a talent pool and secure constant succession planning.
- Visual Merchandising: Implement visual merchandising plans via your team according to guidelines.
- Trade Planning: Secure execution of our trade plans instore according to the overall retail plan.
- Education and Training: Work closely with the Education team to secure that the sales team meets our high requirements of product knowledge and customer service.
- Cost Management: Monitor costs closely and work to maximize efficiencies.
- Store Profitability: Analyze store profitability and suggest actions for improvement.
- Market Awareness: Follow team performance as well as business and competitor movements. Build actions and execute immediately.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven work experience as National Sales Manager, Head of field sales, Country Commercial Lead or similar.
- Retail Skills: Strong retail skills – you know the retail KPIs and how to use them. Experience from within the Beauty industry is a plus but not a requirement.
- Leadership: Experience with managing a high-performance sales team in a global/international matrix organization.
- Stakeholder Management: Master stakeholder management.
- Leadership and Coaching: Strong leadership and coaching skills with the focus to develop and build retail sales and leadership capabilities.
- Analysis and Problem-Solving: Ability to understand and analyze retail sales performance metrics.
- Communication: Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
- Travel: Available to travel as needed (mainly inside Sweden and to Copenhagen).
- Language: Understand and speak "Scandinavian" and English at a high level.
