Nordics Business Development Director

We're looking for a highly experienced sales professional to join our team as a Majors Account Strategist. In this role, you'll be responsible for sourcing and closing new business opportunities within your designated territory.
You'll work closely with our internal partners to drive deal progression and ensure customer success. Your goal will be to consistently meet ARR revenue targets through a data-driven approach.
We're looking for someone with 10+ years of closing experience in direct field sales, selling enterprise cloud software to large EMEA companies. Large Enterprise to Majors segment selling experience is essential.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Sourcing and closing new business opportunities within your designated territory
- Navigating complex organizational structures to identify key decision-makers and champions
- Delivering value-driven sales cycles that meet customer objectives
- Collaborating with internal partners to drive deal progression and ensure customer success
- Meeting ARR revenue targets through a data-driven approach
- Developing and executing sales strategies to generate pipeline, drive sales opportunities, and deliver repeatable bookings
- Providing timely insights to corporate functions
- Creating ROI reports based on data-driven analysis
- Routine Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) aligned with business success criteria
- 10+ years of closing experience in direct field sales, selling enterprise cloud software to large EMEA companies
- Large Enterprise to Majors segment selling experience is essential
- Ability to learn, pitch, and demonstrate highly technical products in a fast-growing environment
- Closing complex deals and selling into complex organizations
- Effective method for uncovering greenfield opportunities and building out a new territory
- Previous experience building relationships and selling face-to-face to C-level executives
- Knowledge of best-of-breed software and technical understanding of integrations, APIs, infrastructure management, security, and analytics
- Experience selling technical SaaS and cloud-based software solutions
- Familiarity with search infrastructure is a plus
- Previous experience working with multiple teammates including SEs, BDRs, PMs, Executives & Engineers
- This is a remote position; you will be based in the Nordics region and know the EMEA market, including its cultural nuances and business practices.
