Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to spearhead our sales and business development efforts in Scandinavia.

About the Role:
  • Directly report to: EMEA Sales Director
  • Location: Remote working with occasional travel
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive sales and business development initiatives in assigned countries, aligning with our organization's value, mission, vision, and strategy.
  2. Establish annual sales targets and account plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  3. Achieve sales targets for transmission overhead line CICA solution and T&D insulator products.
  4. Conduct market research, analysis, and associated marketing activities in line with our business strategy.
  5. Cultivate decision-making relationships with government organizations, industry stakeholders, and target customers.
  6. Develop key stakeholder relationships, particularly with TSO/DNO decision-makers.
  7. Organize and coordinate internal resources based on business requirements.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in English and one of the local languages in the Nordic countries.
  • Profound understanding of the local transmission and distribution power grid market.
  • Strong relationships with key decision-makers in the T&D market.
  • Knowledge of the local TSO market, including market size, competition, trends, and customer dynamics.
  • Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with engineering departments.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and local language.
  • Availability for travel: meetings, audits, factory visits, and exhibitions.
