About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Social Media Creative Director to lead our social media team in developing innovative and engaging content that resonates with our diverse audience. As a key member of our brand development team, you will play a vital role in shaping the creative expression of H&M on social channels.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead concept development and creative delivery, ensuring our social content is innovative, on-trend, and audience-centric.

  • Oversee and coach social creatives, ensuring all produced content aligns with the brand's identity, campaign guidelines, and broader strategy.

  • Stay attuned to social media trends, platform updates, and audience behaviors to ensure we remain competitive and culturally relevant.

  • Use insights and data to refine creative approaches, ensuring that social content is optimized for engagement and reach.

  • Establish a strong global creative network of leading talent (internal and external) to help generate and execute ideas on a global scale.

  • Nurture relationships and seek new connections with content creators, creative agencies, talent management, etc.

  • Supervise the creation of high-quality social content, ensuring efficient execution while maintaining brand standards.

  • Collaborate closely with internal and external teams to deliver timely, impactful social-first content.

  • Explore and integrate innovative tools to enhance creative production and storytelling capabilities.

  • Foster a growth-oriented, curious mindset within the team.

Requirements

  • 6+ years experience in social media and creative production, with focus on conceptual development across social channels.
  • A strong sense of fashion with an eye for how to create highly inspiring and relevant fashion content.
  • Proven ability to lead a creative team to balance brand, business & channel requirements.
  • Skilled in interpreting social insights and metrics, driving data-informed creative decisions.
  • Experience in monitoring and adapting to social trends and platforms to maintain relevance.
  • Strong project management skills to ensure high-quality, timely content delivery.
  • Agile mindset with the ability to work effectively in and adapt to constantly changing environments.
  • Familiarity with innovative digital tools and AI for creative content production.
  • Strong collaborative skills and ability to inspire the team to create boundary-pushing content.
