TN Sweden is a Swedish biopharma company focused on developing treatments for neurodegenerative diseases. Their innovative approach has led to the creation of Leqembi (lecanemab), the world's first drug to slow down disease progression and reduce cognitive impairment in early-stage Alzheimer's disease.
The company's research portfolio includes antibodies targeting Parkinson's disease, ALS, and further initiatives against Alzheimer's disease. By leveraging their proprietary BrainTransporter technology, TN Sweden aims to transform treatment efficacy by actively transporting antibodies across the blood-brain barrier.
Business Development Opportunity:
- Establish and lead the business development function at TN Sweden, overseeing all related activities.
- Cultivate existing partnerships while identifying and attracting new collaborators.
- Closely collaborate with senior leadership to attract, evaluate, and negotiate potential partnerships, collaborations, and licensing opportunities.
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within relevant therapeutic areas.
- Support negotiations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and execute licensing agreements and collaborations.
- Represent TN Sweden at industry events to enhance visibility and foster strategic relationships.
Requirements:
- MSc in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in business development within pharmaceutical or biotech industries, preferably with a track record of closing licensing deals.
- Strong understanding of drug development processes, regulatory landscapes, and commercial value.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Global mindset with willingness to travel as required.
