About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Control Manager to lead our Traction Control Department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers working on traction control products and its functionality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of 18 engineers, overseeing their work on supporting order projects and standard control products.
  • Develop and maintain verification and validation activities for the entire traction control department.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including control, system, electronics, and operating system departments.
  • Participate in the department leadership team, contributing to visions, strategies, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relevant competency and skills in the team.
Requirements
  • M.Sc. in Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer, Robotics, or equivalent.
  • Multiple years of technical and managerial experience.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with a genuine interest in developing team members.
  • Ability to lead, develop, and challenge the organization.
  • Knowledge of software safety (IEC61508, ISO26262 etc) and/or experience from rail applications is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with applying agile methods for software development.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English at a business level is essential for the job.
