Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead our traction control department in Västerås. As a Product Control Management Professional, you will be responsible for managing a team of control engineers and overseeing the development and maintenance of traction control products and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform team management tasks, including close contact with team members, workforce planning, performance management, recruitment, and salary reviews.
  • Participate in the department leadership team to work on visions and strategies, ways of working, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage the product organization within the department.
  • Collaborate with technical project leaders to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Develop and maintain relevant competencies and skills within the team.

Requirements

  • M.Sc. in Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer, Robotics, or equivalent.
  • Multiple years of technical and managerial experience.
  • Strong interest in coaching, supporting, and developing team members.
  • Ability and interest in leading, developing, and challenging the organization.
  • Knowledge of software safety (IEC61508, ISO26262) and/or experience in rail applications is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with applying agile methods for software development.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English at a business level.
