Product Control Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Control Manager to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our Traction Control department, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers working on traction control products and its functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of approximately 18 engineers, overseeing their work on supporting order projects and standard control products.
- Participate in the Traction Control department leadership team, contributing to visions and strategies, way of working, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with technical project leaders to ensure timely deliveries and secure commitments.
- Develop and maintain relevant competency and skills within the team.
Requirements
- M.Sc. in Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or equivalent.
- Multiple years of technical and managerial experience.
- Strong interest in coaching, supporting, and developing team members.
- Ability and interest in leading, developing, and challenging the organization.
- Knowledge of software safety (IEC61508, ISO26262) and/or experience from rail applications is an advantage.
- Familiarity with applying agile methods for software development.
- Fluent in Swedish and English at a business level is essential for the job.
