About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Programme Manager for Train Control Systems to join our dynamic team in Västerås, Sweden. As a key member of our Programme Development team, you will be responsible for managing work packages within the programme, coordinating high-level planning, stakeholders, and resources.

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead programme development activities, including sprint planning, and support the Programme Manager with agile methodology. You will also be responsible for promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.

Salary & Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is €85,000 - €110,000 (depending on experience), plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in System Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in planning agile product development processes
  • Certified Agile/Scrum Master (desired)
  • Experience in developing embedded software and hardware
  • Knowledge of Linux for embedded systems
  • Familiarity with industrial or railway safety standards (IEC61508/EN50128/EN60567/EN50129)
  • Cyber security knowledge (a plus)
