Traction Control Software Developer

As a Traction Control Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in developing traction control software for high-speed trains, commuter trains, and metros. You'll work closely with our team of engineers to design, develop, test, and maintain traction control software that meets customer expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing control software for traction systems in trains and metros
- Developing, testing, and integrating traction control software
- Implementing and testing using graphical programming tools such as Simulink
- Collaborating with neighboring disciplines within mechanical, electronics, and systems engineering
- Managing requirements with internal and external stakeholders
- Participating in investigations and developing solutions
- Providing support to system tests, train commissioning, and homologation of traction systems
- Handling source code, configuration management, packaging, and releases of software
We're looking for a highly skilled engineer with a strong background in computer engineering, robotics engineering, electrical engineering, or applied physics. You should have a drive for results, good problem-solving skills, and enjoy creating software solutions together with others. English at a business fluent level is essential, and Swedish at an intermediate level is preferable. 2-3 years of experience in software development for industrial applications or real-time systems is an advantage.
