Job Description

As the Chief Commercial Merchandise Director, you will lead our Sales Team and be responsible for optimizing the conversion rate online. You will analyze customer demand and product supply while maintaining brand appearance and creating a seamless customer experience on site.

You will work closely with the Head of Sales and Sales Team, sharing responsibility for the P&L as well as supporting planning and execution of commercial activities to reach organizational goals. Additionally, you will participate in strategic departmental and cross-departmental projects requiring strong leadership, exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and mentor the online merchandising team.
  • Ensure departmental targets are met by focusing on optimizing the CR.
  • Support the Head of Sales in achieving annual sales and profit targets, maintaining financial accountability for online sales performance.
  • Define, refine and optimize commercial activities to support organizational objectives.
  • Monitor and improve key business metrics using data-driven insights to enhance overall performance.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, ensuring smooth processes for product management, online merchandising, and customer engagement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' eCommerce experience; online merchandising background is beneficial.
  • Proven track record in eCommerce management roles with leadership skills to motivate diverse teams.
  • Success in improving key business metrics and delivering against targets.
  • Strong understanding of visual merchandising and its importance in brand appearance.
  • Ability to use data and insight combined with a commercial perspective to drive innovation and growth.
