Commercial Manager Job Description

The role of a Commercial Manager at Saab is to drive business growth by developing and executing commercial strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in bid teams, collaborating with customers and negotiating contracts
  2. Manage the commercial aspects of bid strategy and business setup
  3. Prepare comprehensive commercial packages for bids and contracts
  4. Negotiate commercial terms of customer contracts
  5. Support price calculation, including margin analysis and financial requirements
  6. Collaborate with internal and external experts to cover commercial aspects of bids

As a key member of the bid core team, you will work closely with Product Sales Responsible(s) (PSR) to contribute your commercial expertise and optimize our offers.

To succeed in this role, you should have a university degree in finance, law, engineering, or equivalent experience. Additionally, you should possess hands-on experience in conducting business between companies or public sectors, negotiations, price calculations, or contract terms and conditions.

You should also possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, a result-oriented approach, tenacity, and a passion to win.

Strong English proficiency and cultural awareness are essential for this role, as you will be interacting with diverse stakeholders and partners.
