About the Role
:As the NRM Excellence Manager at Essity, you will be responsible for driving the NRM culture and capability roadmap for our Consumer Goods business across diverse markets in Europe. Your primary objective will be to optimize the NRM processes, including identifying opportunities, setting strategies, executing, and supporting implementation.
Reporting to the Net Revenue Management Lead for Consumer Goods EMEA, you will collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders, such as the Commercial Excellence Team, Regional Net Revenue Managers, and Business Development Managers, to lead our NRM culture and capability journey.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess NRM knowledge, structured change management, and organizational skills, as well as pioneering and entrepreneurial behaviors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive the NRM culture and capability roadmap for a business unit, in strong collaboration with key regional stakeholders.
- Lead BU-wide capability-building projects, such as the NRM Academy, developing content, delivering training, and managing relationships with expert external partners.
- Own the business unit's suite of NRM playbooks, ensuring they are always up to date, aligned, and adopted.
- Drive the implementation of business unit ways of working through pilots and partnerships with regional teams, monitoring and reporting activities across geographies, coordinating, and optimizing critical process outputs.
- Lead the assessment of NRM maturity across geographies, measuring and communicating progress, celebrating and leveraging success.
- Keep benchmarking and up-skilling to be at the forefront of best-in-class processes across NRM pillars, bringing external expertise into business unit ways of working, through own work and business case approval for new investments.
- Create a new access point or online hub for NRM resources.
- Be an influential part of Essity's NRM community.
- Define and implement the method by which Essity benchmarks its NRM maturity versus its peers.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience within the FMCG industry, within commercial or strategic business roles.
- Proven experience within Revenue Growth Management (RGM) / Net Revenue Management (NRM) / Commercial Strategy / Market Strategy & Planning (MS&P) within FMCG / CPG or Management Consulting.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with a structured ability to stay in control of the detail of large complex projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with experience from working and achieving results in a matrix organization, demonstrated ability to collaborate across diverse and international teams.
- In-depth understanding of key NRM concepts, including Brand Portfolio Pricing, Price Pack Architecture (PPA), Mix Management, Promotion Strategy, and Trade Investment.
- Excited to pioneer new ways of working within Essity, driven to deliver organizational behavioral change.
- Have experience in leading with personal influence, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Practical, supportive, and principled, with the ability to collaboratively problem-solve and break barriers to execution of new processes and playbooks.
- Engaging and positive, a motivating driving force from within high-performing teams.
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to travel 20-30% per month.
