International Customs Manager

The Customs Specialist role at Samsung involves driving business growth through efficient trade operations. As a key member of our customs department, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations and developing quality end-to-end supply chain solutions.
Job Responsibilities:- Ensure Samsung stays on top of the market by identifying processes that can be automated and streamlined, and implementing automation through collaboration with various functions across the company.
- Work in a team of enthusiastic and competent colleagues as well as with Sales/Marketing departments, logistic service providers, customs brokers, and the finance and cost control departments.
- Be an ambitious, team-focused expert in the field, creating a quality end-to-end supply chain and fulfilling the customer promise.
You will lead and coordinate customs-related matters, including contract negotiations, declaration management, and compliance with regulations. Additionally, you will work closely with our European Customs Team and HQ Customs Team to ensure alignment and best practices.
Skills and Qualifications:- A background as Customs specialist, 5+ years experience preferably from international organizations.
- Minimum Tullspecialist (Customs Compliance Specialist) from YH.
- Preferable additional formal training from Swedish Customs Authorities or similar.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience in SAP.
- Experience in leading continuous improvement projects is preferred.
