Job Description

As a Senior Sales Manager with Siemens Mobility, you'll lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies that drive revenue growth, expand customer relationships, and deliver outstanding results in a competitive landscape.

Key Challenges
  1. Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement a commercially responsible team strategy to enhance revenue and achieve business and sales targets, ensuring alignment with Siemens Mobility's global strategy and goals.
  2. Team Management and Development: Lead and mentor a team of Sales Managers, including recruitment, training, performance management, and career development to foster a high-performing team environment.
  3. Pipeline and Pursuit Oversight: Drive the strategic direction for sales pipelines, oversee key pursuits, and ensure effective execution to close deals in line with business guidelines.
  4. Financial and Operational Management: Manage budgets, cost controls, and pipeline reporting, ensuring accurate monitoring of financial and non-financial performance metrics.
  5. Customer and Market Engagement: Represent Siemens Mobility in management review boards, strategic customer accounts, and marketing or analyst conferences to strengthen customer relationships and market presence.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Software Sales Management in SaaS business, including value selling (e.g., Challenger approach).
  • Knowledge of Digital Industry Software Solutions and sales processes/methodologies.
  • Strong skills in presentation, communication, facilitation, and collaboration.
  • Shown expertise in customer leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision-making based on CRM systems SFDC.
  • Experience in people and business management, achieving goals, and managing execution.
  • Strong big-picture thinking, sharp business insight, and entrepreneurial demeanour.
  • Skilled in negotiation, conflict management, and leading through change.
  • Relevant degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or Sales (or equivalent experience).
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with travel to customer sites as needed.
