Sales Director

As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for identifying new merchant opportunities among online gambling operators, establishing a strong pipeline of potential clients, and working closely with the Integration team to ensure smooth implementation and go-live process.
About the Role:
This role focuses on revenue growth across Europe by expanding Trustly's gambling merchant base.
The successful candidate will have at least 3-5 years experience in complex B2B sales and/or business development, preferably in payments for online gambling, and a large network in the online gambling and/or payments industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract execution.
- Establish a strong pipeline of gambling operator opportunities across European markets.
- Work closely with the Integration team to ensure smooth implementation and go-live process.
- Ensure high sales activity output.
- Collaborate with Trustly's Gaming Account Management and Partnership teams to drive sales activity.
- Participate in industry marketing activities to establish business as a market leader.
Requirements:
- Self-starter with a strong ownership mentality.
- At least 3-5 years experience in complex B2B sales and/or business development, preferably in payments for online gambling.
- Large network in the online gambling and/or payments industry.
- Solution-driven problem solver with a creative mindset.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills in English and preferably another European language.
- A proven track record of sales success.
