The Account Executive is a critical role within our organization, responsible for driving new business and customer expansion sales opportunities.
As an Account Executive, you will be focused on selling Workiva's core platform and collaborating with other solution sales teams to deliver multi-solution sales.
This role is centered around customer account development across the Nordic region, requiring strong relationships and a deep understanding of Workiva products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Seek out sales opportunities through collaboration with peer sales teams, inside sales, and partnerships.
- Utilize information gathered during the needs analysis phase to deliver compelling demonstrations of the Workiva platform.
- Skilfully address customer objections, removing obstacles and finding solutions to various client challenges.
- Lead the sales process naturally, guiding it to a close by effectively showcasing Workiva's value proposition.
- Maintain accurate forward-looking information through pipeline analysis to forecast sales.
- Develop and execute a sales strategy with purposeful action to secure the sale.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 4+ years experience in enterprise technology or similar complex solution sales.
- An undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of knowledge and related career experience.
- Fluency in English and Swedish or Norwegian.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of the Software as a Service (SaaS) business model.
- Ability to demonstrate complex software applications.
- Strong business acumen and an ability to understand complex business challenges.
