Your Role

We seek an experienced Steel Sales Manager for our Steel Trade Division. Your primary focus will be new customer acquisition, emphasizing proactive outbound sales of secondary/non-prime steel from stock locations in Sweden, Poland, and Belgium.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and expand relationships with new customers in key markets.
  2. Reactivate, strengthen, and maintain existing customer relationships.
  3. Drive sales of secondary/non-prime steel, focusing on available stock and market demand.
  4. Pursue new business opportunities by leveraging market insights and industry trends.
  5. Negotiate contracts and close deals to ensure profitability and long-term partnerships.
  6. Collaborate closely with internal teams for smooth order fulfilment.
  7. Travel frequently to meet customers and explore new market opportunities.

Requirements & Experience

  • A proven track record of success in sales within the secondary/non-prime steel industry is essential.
  • Strong experience in new customer acquisition and proactive outbound sales, with a results-driven mindset.
  • An established industry network within the secondary/non-prime steel sector is highly desirable.
  • Fluent English skills, both written and verbal, are required. Proficiency in Swedish is advantageous.
  • The ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive business growth in a competitive market.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a strategic approach to sales and account management.
