About the Role

Nuveen, the investment management arm of TIAA, is seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our Nordic Client Group. As a leading global asset manager, we provide outcome-focused solutions to institutional and wealth clients. Our mission is to work in partnership with clients to secure their financial future.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain relationships with institutional and wealth clients in Sweden, reporting to the Head of Nordics.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, and retain existing business with CIOs and portfolio managers.
  3. Develop and execute strategies to cross-sell to existing clients and drive new revenue across products and client types.
  4. Lead client and prospect meetings, and engage in brand building and sales activities with investors.
  5. Collaborate with Nuveen's Specialist and investment teams to drive new business opportunities and solve complex client issues.
  6. Lead support staff on assigned client relationships to provide client service and implement sales strategies.
  7. Mentor junior team members and contribute to the team's overall development.
Requirements
  1. At least 10 years' experience in financial services, with asset management industry experience preferred.
  2. Proven track record in institutional sales, with experience in alternatives and traditional asset classes.
  3. Established network of key decision makers within relevant institutions in the Nordic region.
  4. Excellent sales skills, with the ability to close business and build strong working partnerships.
  5. Solid product and investment knowledge, with a general understanding of financial markets and regulatory landscapes.
  6. Degree in a related field (Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Marketing).
  7. Self-motivated individual, with the ability to take ownership and ensure outcomes are achieved.
