Marketing Manager Nordics

As a key member of the Global Marketing team at IDEXX, you will be responsible for developing and executing regional marketing plans for the Nordic markets. This role reports into the Senior Marketing Manager - Northern Europe, who will work closely with you to develop and implement campaigns and programs for several product categories.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with the Senior Marketing Manager to develop and implement campaigns and programs for several product categories
  • Executing commercial plans and maximizing value in local markets or corporate account groups in alignment with global strategy and in consultation with the regional, country-level or corporate account marketing managers
  • Conducting field marketing activities and executing local events, in person (ie: Trade Shows, seminars) or online (ex: Webinars) in collaboration with Global education team
  • Defining and implementing digital marketing processes and activities including website management, local social media channels and email campaigns
  • Acting as in-country product manager to support local functions
  • Supporting annual marketing and product launch plans
  • Serving as a channel driver for customer and market insights at a local market or corporate account scale
  • Supporting or fully executing quarterly reporting on progress against created plans and KPIs
  • Supporting annual DOPS (Price list) Marketing content creation
  • Executing localization of marketing materials
  • Managing and updating customer data in the CRM system

Requirements include:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Fluency in one or more Nordic languages is a strong advantage
  • Must live within an easy travel to all Nordic countries, especially Sweden
  • Preferably 3+ years in a similar Business-to-Business Marketing role, preferably at Pharma or Medical devices industries
  • Ability to develop and implement marketing campaigns, with a strong focus on digital media
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills required. Cultural sensitivity a must as the job involves working with an international team
  • Proven ability to work-in and lead with influence project teams which are highly matrixed and cross functional
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to anticipate and resolve issues
  • Ability to prioritize, maintain focus, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong/advanced presentation skills; ability to present and explain product information to all audiences
  • Proficiency in MS office applications
  • A minimum of 30% yearly travel is required
