About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Transformation Director to join our team at Sandvik AB. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving IT innovations, operational improvements, and cross-functional collaborations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define the IT transformation strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Create and maintain an IT transformation roadmap, ensuring its consistency with the long-term organizational vision.
  • Establish an agile organization and governance structure.
  • Streamline the country IT service catalog.
  • Lead IT transformation initiatives to ensure they meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements while delivering measurable value.
  • Support key stakeholders in transformation initiatives, including M&A and site projects.
  • Identify technological opportunities for innovation and operational improvement.
  • Lead change management processes to help us adopt new ways of working.
  • Communicate transformation goals and provide training to support teams throughout the change process.
  • Gather and integrate feedback from stakeholders to align transformation initiatives with business needs and objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT transformation initiatives.
  • Manage transformation budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness and ROI.
  • Ensure the availability and development of IT staff skills necessary for transformation initiatives.
  • Track and measure performance of transformation initiatives against key metrics and KPIs.
About You

We are looking for an experienced IT professional with a background in agile and servant leadership. You have knowledge of IT infrastructure and provision of IT services. With experience in managing IT teams, you have developed an understanding of cross-functional collaboration, change, and stakeholder management.

Your expertise in project management and agile way of working enables you to lead complex initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Your knowledge is backed by a degree in IT or equivalent. Working in a global environment calls for excellent skills in English, verbally and in writing.
