Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Director to lead our construction plant projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for strategic planning, budgeting, and execution of our projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for construction projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Manage project budgets, costs, and timelines, ensuring effective resource allocation and optimization.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including construction managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution, including procurement, logistics, and quality control.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Senior international profile with strong background in planning, executing, and completing capital projects globally.
  • Proven experience in construction management, capital expenditure planning, and project management, including track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and cost control.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, including knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Impact-oriented with a strong drive to get things done, deliver results, and optimize for speed globally.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • High ambitions with a constant drive for excellence, daring to challenge the status quo.
  • Purpose-driven mentality, with a clear mission and passion for driving environmental change.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience of large complex green/brownfield construction projects built from scratch.
  • Fluency in English both orally and in writing (professional English required).
