THE ROLE

Join us as a Commercial Manager & Regional Lead Scandinavia. You will lead our Commercial Partnerships team in Scandinavia, overseeing supplier relations and managing a team of 3-5 direct reports working with the Swedish & Norwegian markets. You will be reporting to Global Head of Commercial Partnerships. This pivotal role involves driving our business's strategic agenda through robust supplier relationships, team leadership, and operational excellence. You will be instrumental in negotiating product assortment, pricing strategies, promotional activities and marketing investments to enhance Haypp Group's market position. As a key player, you'll collaborate closely with our Business Unit Managers in respective markets to achieve joint KPIs such as Volume, Revenue, and Gross Margin.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead, develop, and motivate a team of 3-5 direct reports, ensuring high performance and engagement.
  2. Optimize workflows and processes to enhance efficiency and value creation.
  3. Reduce dependency on individuals by building structured processes and ways of working.
  4. Set clear guidelines for supplier collaboration and continuously improve internal and external workflows.
  5. Balance flexibility with structure to maximize value while managing complexity.
  6. Develop and execute supplier strategies for each market.
  7. Ensure structured reporting on market challenges and opportunities.
  8. Conduct performance reviews, development plans, and goal setting for team members.
What We Want From You

We are looking for a seasoned leader who has:

  1. Proven experience in a similar role involving supplier or partnership management within the FMCG industry.
  2. Experience from the tobacco / nicotine industry is meriting but not a requirement.
  3. Strong leadership skills with min. 5 years of experience managing and developing a high performing team.
  4. A high ability to set and drive a strategic agenda.
  5. Negotiation skills and experience in commercial agreements.
  6. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  7. A degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
