We are in search of a passionate digital business development manager located in Sweden to join our team. As a business development manager, your main focus will be to sell Baxter's innovative digital health solution, ICNET, to hospitals, healthcare organizations, and other relevant partners across Sweden. Your key objective will be to boost revenue growth by generating new leads, establishing strong customer relationships, and sealing sales deals. Your role is pivotal in promoting our digital health products and services, thus contributing to the advancement of healthcare technology.

In this position, you will be accountable for achieving an annual regional sales target and effectively managing a robust pipeline to ensure profitability. Your expertise lies in networking with key decision-makers and presenting compelling cases to hospitals. This role is multifaceted, requiring an individual with the skills to collaborate with the broader ICNet team to drive sustainable business growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Direct sales of Baxter's digital solution, ICNET, and achieve annual sales revenue target for your territory
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive lead generation
  • Build a strong pipeline of qualified leads and convert them into sales opportunities
  • Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to contract finalization
  • Work to increase product visibility with relevant partners through various channels such as conferences, digital marketing, and direct messaging
  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with current and potential clients by grasping their needs, objectives, and challenges, and offering appropriate solutions
  • Deliver customized product presentations and demonstrations to meet client specifications
  • Develop and execute an annual territory business plan using analytical tools to maximize sales and market penetration, focusing on key products, objectives, regional activities, and potential obstacles
  • Acquire a deep understanding of Baxter's digital solutions, including features, functionality, pricing, and other attributes
  • Engage with peers to explore and exploit new business opportunities in your territory, follow up on identified prospects, and collaborate for mutual success
  • Ensure timely completion of administrative tasks like pipeline management, expense reporting, and communication, in adherence to company policies

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital sales
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English
  • Solid knowledge of Healthcare IT and preferable experience in selling within this sector
  • Proven ability to identify buying processes and decision making, successfully closing sales in both analog and digital environments
  • Skills in prospecting, relationship building, negotiation, and closing deals. Enthusiasm for discovering, proposing, and executing new business agreements and commercial models. Proficient at overcoming adoption barriers effectively
  • Ability to transition between macro market dynamics and detailed troubleshooting seamlessly
  • Capability to handle extended sales cycles and multiple opportunities concurrently
  • Thorough understanding of national healthcare structures, healthcare policy, and hospital financing
  • Proficiency in negotiating with C-level executives
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and willingness to travel
  • Excellent communicator with a customer-centric approach and exceptional interpersonal abilities
