About the role

We are looking for a Business Developer to strengthen the Nordic Business Development team in Property Claims. In this role you will lead and participate in Nordic and local key strategic projects and development initiatives within the Nordic Property Claims unit. Depending on your profile and preferences, the initiatives might range from digital and system development to business process and customer journey development. You excel in an environment requiring a good understanding of technology and data. You know your numbers and have excellent collaboration and communication skills.

About the team

You will be part of the Nordic Business Development team in Property Claims, consisting of seven persons located in different locations in the Nordic countries. The Property Claims organizations in each country and Strategic Partnership unit are your close collaboration partners. From time to time, you might also be working in agile teams with the possibility to try out different roles. You will be working in an open and inclusive team environment with a high degree of freedom and autonomy.

Who you are

We are looking for a person with solid experience in data-driven way of working and leading business development projects. You are structured and methodical in your way of working. You can analyze, structure, and create clarity from complex issues.

Additionally, you have a proactive and pragmatic attitude and can be counted on to finish what you started and deliver on your promises. In this role, having a good technical understanding and interest is important, as you will often operate in the intersect between business needs and technical solutions.

You'll also have:

  • Good understanding of value creation and the ability to see both current and future needs
  • Data-driven way of working and ability to build and follow up solid business cases
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to logically evaluate situations and challenges
  • Excellent communication and cooperation skills with ability to manage stakeholders and build trust
  • Working proficiency in English as well as preferably in additional Nordic languages
  • Solid educational background with a university degree in a relevant field (business or technology)
  • We believe you may have a background of at least 3 years from a strategy, business or IT consultancy firm, alternatively prior experience working in business development functions
  • Experience using process development methods such as Lean, Six Sigma or TQM is meriting
  • Experience from IT development, data analytics, product development, insurance, and financial services and/or the building and construction industry is a plus, but not a requirement.
