Your role

The Director of Marketing & Commercial Operations oversees the design of market-leading services and products across all markets within a global delivery model. Responsibilities include maintaining brand identity through internationally consistent marketing and communication activities, optimizing business unit processes for efficiency, and managing central back-office services, including warehouse management. The Director of Marketing & Commercial Operations reports to the Vice President of the BU e-Mobility.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Ensure Efficient Processes: Develop, maintain, and implement standardized and digitalized processes, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement.
  • Develop Standard Offerings: Create commercially viable propositions for regional sales, collaborating with Marketing & Proposition Management.
  • Create Strategic Marketing Plan: Develop a pan-European marketing plan for B2B and public segments, focusing on customer experience and Vattenfall InCharge positioning.
  • Generate Qualified Leads: Provide and manage qualified leads for regional sales through efficient digital channels.
  • Maintain Back Office Efficiency: Oversee batch and corrective activities in billing and supply chain processes, working with the Central Back Office.
  • Lead and Develop Team: Manage and develop department managers, participate in the BU E-Mobility Management Team, and achieve business and employee goals.
  • Manage Budget: Establish, maintain, and control the departmental budget to meet annual plans within cost limits.

Work location:Berlin or Stockholm.

Qualifications

Your profile

  • Master's degree (MSc/MBA) in engineering, design, product, and/or IT.
  • 10-15 years of recognized international leadership experience across various sectors.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate customer and business needs into clear strategies.
  • Experience managing large projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of the E-mobility industry, products, and IT development.
  • Effective communicator with strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Proven experience in product and service development, change management, and IT system implementation.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
