POSITION OVERVIEW
As an Event Coordination Specialist, you will be an integral member of the Event Support Team in the North Europe Region, dedicated to assisting Ticketmaster clients with their event management requirements. Your responsibilities will encompass the creation of events, implementing updates as per client requests, and providing support to clients who utilize Ticketmaster's suite of products for self-managed events.
This role requires meticulous data collection, review, and entry into Ticketmaster's ticketing systems, adhering to established procedural best practices and standards, followed by thorough verification of the results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute event programming with precision, in line with best practices and defined standard operating procedures. Input event-related data accurately into Ticketmaster's systems and troubleshoot any event-related discrepancies. Achieve and surpass service level agreements for Event Management. Collaborate with clients, promoters, and various internal departments such as marketing, finance, and client support during the event creation process and information dissemination. Provide guidance to clients on the use of our Ticketing and Event Management systems and associated products. Conduct internal and external training sessions on our Ticketing systems. For clients with an assigned Client Support Specialist (CSS), work closely with them to enhance client service. Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients and interdepartmental teams. Occasionally undertake additional responsibilities as directed by the Senior Event Specialist or Event Support Manager.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong service orientation, with a focus on accuracy, structure, and organization, ensuring consistent quality service delivery. Effective communication skills with clients from the local market and surrounding regions (proficiency in English is advantageous). Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Diligent adherence to standard operational procedures and keen attention to detail. A degree of creativity, flexibility, and problem-solving skills is essential. Previous experience in Event Management or Box Office operations is beneficial. A general understanding of the entertainment and sports industry is important. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Proficient in computer use, particularly with data entry and the Microsoft Office suite. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a BA/BS degree is preferred. Availability for scheduled working hours between 8 AM and 10 PM on weekdays, with on-call responsibilities during weekends and holidays, including potential event work.PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
