About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Traction Control Software Developer to join our team in Västerås, Sweden. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing traction control software for high-speed trains, commuter trains, and metros.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop traction control software for high-speed trains and metros
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate traction control software with other systems
  3. Implement and test software using graphical programming tools such as Simulink
  4. Manage requirements with internal and external stakeholders
  5. Participate in investigations and develop solutions to improve traction control software
Requirements
  • MSC in Computer Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Applied Physics
  • 2-3 years of experience in software development for industrial applications or real-time systems
  • Experience with Simulink or similar graphical modeling and simulation tools
  • English at a business fluent level is essential, and Swedish at an intermediate level is preferable
