About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Traction Control Products team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and overseeing the development and maintenance of our traction control products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Team Management: Lead a team of approximately 18 engineers, providing close contact, workforce planning, performance management, recruitment, and salary reviews.
  2. Department Leadership: Participate in the Traction Control department leadership team, contributing to visions and strategies, way of working, and continuous improvement.
  3. Product Organization Management: Collaborate with technical project leaders to ensure timely deliveries and secure commitments.
  4. Competency Development: Develop and maintain relevant competency and skills within the team.
Requirements
  1. Education: M.Sc. in Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or equivalent.
  2. Experience: Multiple years of technical and managerial experience.
  3. Leadership Skills: Genuine interest in coaching, supporting, and developing team members, with the ability to lead, develop, and challenge the organization.
  4. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with software safety (IEC61508, ISO26262) and/or experience in rail applications is an advantage.
  5. Communication Skills: Fluency in Swedish and English at a business level is essential for the role.
