Account Director for Global Automotive Customers

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Director to join our key account team in the Automotive industry. As an Account Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies to drive growth and revenue, building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, and leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-value projects.
You will work closely with our senior director of sales and business development to develop and implement business strategies that meet our customers' needs and drive revenue growth. You will also be responsible for negotiating and closing deals with customers, providing thought leadership and strategic guidance to internal stakeholders, and identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing business strategies to drive growth and revenue
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-value projects
- Negotiating and closing deals with customers
- Providing thought leadership and strategic guidance to internal stakeholders
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- MBA or M.Sc. in engineering including business/finance studies or similar
- 10+ years working in Key account management for a Tier 1 supplier towards the Automotive industry
- Battery industry experience valuable but not a must
- Excellent analytical & communication skills
- Bold problem solver with a can-do attitude
- Passionate about making a positive impact
- Strong leadership skills
