Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned key account manager to join our mission in transforming the Automotive industry into a sustainable battery electric future. As an Account Director, you will play a crucial role in developing strong relationships with our key customers and driving new business opportunities.

This is a diverse and challenging role that requires a unique blend of leadership skills, technical expertise, and business acumen. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-value projects and drive growth initiatives.

About the Team

The key account team is responsible for maintaining and developing our existing automotive customers. We are a dynamic and collaborative group based at our headquarters in Stockholm, with regular travel to customer sites, R&D centers, and production facilities.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Overall responsible for the customer relationship for one or several of our Automotive customers
  • First level of escalation on existing projects with the customer
  • Business development for new opportunities with the customer including aligning technical roadmap & driving RFI/RFQs to win new business
  • Responsible for negotiation towards the customer on existing and new contracts
  • Advocate for the customer internally towards R&D, factory, supply chain, etc.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • MBA or M.Sc. in engineering including business/finance studies or similar
  • 10+ years working in Key account management for a Tier 1 supplier towards the Automotive industry
  • Battery industry experience valuable but not a must
  • Excellent analytical & communication skills
  • Bold problem solver with a can-do attitude
  • Passionate about making a positive impact
  • Strong leadership skills
