Position Overview

At Workday, our Account Executives are integral members of our Field Sales team. Focused on generating new revenue, they drive the growth of Workday's customer base. This dedicated group of professionals plays a crucial role in assisting new clients as they transition from outdated systems to a modern enterprise management cloud.

As a collaborative team, we prioritize building strong partnerships with our clients to create tailored solutions that provide enduring value. Our goal is to ensure that our customers experience satisfaction from the very beginning and continue to do so throughout our relationship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate a strategy for identifying, targeting, and securing significant opportunities within your designated territory.
  • Conduct thorough account planning for assigned clients, collaborating with pre-sales and other teams to ensure strategic coherence.
  • Manage multiple intricate SaaS sales processes, coordinating various internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful results.
  • Initiate and facilitate the sales of Workday solutions to Medium Enterprise prospects while effectively communicating Workday's value propositions.
  • Maintain precise and timely records of customer interactions, pipeline status, and service forecasts.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in selling complex SaaS/Cloud solutions to C-level executives from a field sales perspective.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate deals with various C-Suite executives to close sales opportunities.
  • Experience in a systematic approach to generating and nurturing leads within your territory.
  • Successful track record in a new logo sales cycle role, including prospecting for opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of the competitive landscape within the industry, staying informed about trends and customer needs to effectively position Workday solutions.
  • Experience in collaborating with internal team members on account strategies.
  • Fluency in Swedish is required.
