About the Role

Biotage is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager to join our team in Uppsala, Sweden. As a key member of our Global Marketing organization, you will play a central role in driving our customer-oriented marketing approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans for our Analytical Sample Preparation portfolio, supporting laboratories working with clinical, forensic, and doping testing, as well as water and environmental, and food and agricultural testing.
  • Create marketing materials to attract potential customers and retain existing ones, while supporting our salespeople in their sales and training activities.
  • Bring the voice of customers into the company and identify the most appealing features of our products and the value and benefits they provide, translating them into engaging marketing towards new and existing customers.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director and Product Managers to drive the global marketing strategy for the product portfolio.
  • Work with Regional Marketing to ensure that the product marketing strategy is tailored and well-fitted for global market requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date on current and future market trends, and on competition, to inform marketing decisions.
  • Represent the voice of customers in our projects and ensure that customer needs are met.
  • Create positioning, value proposition, and target audience definition for the portfolio.
  • Develop engaging content (all types of marketing collateral, both traditional and digital) and a marketing program for the business line.
  • Provide insights and content for global, company-wide marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure the sales team is equipped with the right content and trained on how to promote our solutions in the best way.
Requirements
  • Marketing or business-related degree, or a scientific degree (preferably Chemistry or Biology) supplemented with 3-5 years of marketing experience from the Life Science, Forensic, MedTech, or similar industries.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interface directly with external and internal stakeholders globally.
  • Team player with high integrity and strong sense of structure and process design.
  • Detail-oriented and self-starter with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English, verbally and written.
  • Strong desire to learn and develop skills.
