Job Title: Cinematics Technical Designer

Electronic Arts is seeking a highly skilled Cinematics Technical Designer to join our team. As a key member of our cinematics team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing visual effects, 3D assets, and cinematics for our games.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement visual effects, 3D assets, and cinematics for our games.
  • Collaborate with artists, engineers, and designers to ensure high-quality visual effects and 3D assets.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for visual effects and 3D assets.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to visual effects and 3D assets.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a digital art content creation pipeline, within the video game or film/tv industry with a focus on cinematics.
  • Experience with game development frameworks and methodologies.
  • Experience with real-time workflows and the technical hurdles/limitations associated.
  • Familiarity with 3D DCC tools such as Autodesk Maya, MotionBuilder, 3dsMax, or Blender.
  • Experience developing custom tools for Digital content creation (DCC).
  • Knowledge of high-level coding language. (Python, C#, mel scripting)
  • Experience with version control systems such as Perforce, Git, or Shotgrid (Flow Production Tracking).
