As we expand our operations, we are in search of an Engineering Manager to navigate the complexities of our growing organization.

Role Overview

In the capacity of Engineering Manager, you will oversee two to three autonomous teams, guiding them in their continuous pursuit of excellence. Your role will involve collaborating with peers who share a common goal: enhancing the effectiveness and productivity of our engineering division. You will foster an environment of growth and learning, balancing hands-on involvement with the ability to step back when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Refine and establish effective workflows and processes.
  • Build, mentor, and expand our engineering teams.
  • Develop comprehensive onboarding and training programs for team members.
  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration and effective communication.
  • Coach teams and individuals to enhance their impact and delivery, focusing on stakeholder engagement.
  • Proactively identify challenges and implement solutions in our dynamic environment.
  • Contribute to a culture of dedication, teamwork, and enjoyment in the workplace.

Candidate Profile

To thrive in this position, you should possess 1-2 years of experience in leadership roles, particularly in agile and fast-paced settings. We seek an individual who is eager to embrace new challenges and develop their leadership capabilities. Your focus will be on collaboration with your teams and progressing as an Engineering Manager with the support of senior leadership.

  • You are motivated by the growth of individuals and the delivery of business value.
  • Your career may have begun in development, transitioning into architectural or organizational leadership.
  • Experience in a rapidly growing organization with a flat hierarchy is advantageous.
  • Strong skills in providing constructive feedback, problem-solving, and collaboration are essential.
