Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire bid process from initiation to submission, ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to gather information, assess project requirements, and translate technical specifications into clear, persuasive proposals.
  • Work closely with sales, project management, and other stakeholders to align bid strategies with business objectives.
  • Create and manage high-quality bid documents, including technical descriptions, pricing, and project timelines.
  • Conduct research to understand market trends, competitor strategies, and client needs, and use this information to enhance proposals.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline the bidding process and improve proposal quality, ensuring best practices are implemented.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in the functionality and architecture of railway systems, including a solid background in comprehensive technical bid management.
  • Fluency in both Swedish and English is essential.
  • Proficiency in managing engineering scope and budgets effectively.
  • In-depth understanding of products, signalling systems, and standards within the railway industry.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide and coordinate the team during the bidding process.
  • Exceptional interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to effectively communicate, collaborate, and influence executives and colleagues.
  • Comfort working in an international and multicultural environment.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive with a strong sense of anticipation.
  • Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities are essential for this role.
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Scientific disciplines, or Project Management.
